The Northern Italian region of Piedmont lies at the base of the Alps (the name precisely means “at the foot of the mountains.”) Piedmont has been renowned for generations for sophisticated food and elegant wines, the most legendary coming from the Barolo area. Besides being home to some of the world’s most beautiful red wines, along with famed hilltop castles, phenomenal restaurants, and valleys full of vines– We invite you to travel with us to one of Italy’s greatest regions right at Odette’s. Sean Caviston, River House’s lead Sommelier, will passionately deliver tableside descriptions of each wine and how it perfectly pairs with each course of Executive Chef David Utley’s curated menu for an evening of wine education and indulgence.
