New Hope Artist Series

New Hope has a fascinating history as a social hub for the artist community, and Chez Odette was one of its most iconic stomping grounds. Setting out to pay homage to the fabric of our community and its unique heritage, River House at Odette’s is honoring this rich history with a monthly exhibition series as a continuation of our mission to celebrate the spirit of Odette and her talented neighbors.

Those who RSVP by calling 215.682.2022 with their name and party size before the event will receive a reduced parking rate of $5.

Join us as we honor the spirit of Odette, as well as New Hope’s highly acclaimed artists in celebration of culture and community. Members of the community and hotel guests are welcome to join the celebration featuring a special “meet and greet” with the artist. Guests will have the opportunity to purchase works of art directly from the artist with a portion of the proceeds donated to New Hope Arts, a nonprofit regional arts center dedicated to furthering the heritage of New Hope as a vital art center.

Hope Gaburo is a local artist and painter based out of both Lambertville, New Jersey, and New Hope, Pennsylvania. Gaburo is a self- taught artist, who specializes in fine hyper-realistic watercolor landscapes, along with bold and technical oil landscapes and portraits as well.

Gaburo’s works tend to reflect her home of Lambertville and New Hope, capturing the local sights and iconic river views. “I tend to get deeply inspired by my community, and the love it reflects around me. The people, the art, the nature- being immersed and in the center of all of it fills my heart with great joy and gratitude that it is simply impossible not to pour out onto a canvas. My heart and soul is in each and every piece I create, and as I like to say, from my heart and into your hands. The goal, or objective of an artist in my eyes is simple: to serve the community and capture the love and the light of art and the power and strength to share with those around you. It’s a beautiful position to be in, really.” Gaburo owns Scrambled Gallery in the heart of New Hope, PA, and displays not only her own works, but the works of approximately 30 local and regional artists. Scrambled Gallery is an eclectic, fun, and all-inclusive gallery located in the arts district of New Hope (New Hope Arts Center).
